Gary Durante first learned the joys of painting and drawing from his grandfather, who worked as a professional sign painter in Quincy, Massachusetts. It was there at his Dartmouth Street garage that he would spend hours watching and learning from his grandfather. Today Gary captures the South Shore, Cape Cod, and northern New England in his paintings.
