Jan Darcy is a wash-ashore with a long family history on the Cape. Her maternal family dates back to the Mayflower and grew up hearing stories of family members long gone and their roles in Barnstable Village. Though she grew up in DC, she longed for those weeks on the Cape staying in her grandparents’ house. Today, Jan spends her time capturing the Cape in her acrylic paintings.
